  Berean Baptist Church shares very similar views to Islamic extremists. but Baptist tend to have that sort of reputation. it's unfortunate how they are so focused with all the hatred that exists in the bible. not really how i would interpret the word of God but that's just my philosophy. i suppose if you enjoy condemnation, fury, hatred, and punishment that place would suit you just well. if not, then i'd recommend keep looking.

  For the poster below me, I am afraid you must have some wrong information or your posting has been attributed to the wrong church. We certainly believe in the Lord Jesus Christ, and His Name is mentioned in each and every service. In fact, all we do revolves around Him. In fact, our pastor was fired from being a guest chaplain in our state legislature in May 2010 because he refused not to pray in Jesus' Name.
  
  I am a member of Berean, and also a graduate of Berean Christian School. Both are top-notch. I loved every moment of my time in the school. The atmosphere was a wonderful one to learn both bookwork in and life lessons and skills.
  
  The church is wonderful. Everyone is very friendly and warm, and Pastor Baity is as good as it can be when it comes to preaching the Word of God. Old-fashioned preaching, great music (you won't find any contempory "Christian" or that other worldly stuff here), and wonderful fellowship abound. Pastor Baity started Berean with 30-some members in a storefront building. Since that time, God's blessed with two church buildings, radio station, Christian school, bus ministry... and many more ministries.

  Christian-like or Christ-Like?
  Many times we're influenced by politicians and assumptions to make a decision about what we believe or support. However, Jesus lived against this example, and never once condemned or assumed about other people. The bible states further on this, not to judge hearts.
  
  A man of God should not be afraid of transgenders, or assume they are predators, as Pastor Ron Baity of this church does. Fear leads to hate, not love, and if you wish to learn to be a follower of Christ, I encourage you to attend a church that is a follower of Christ's example, not follow the sermons or opinion based on assumptions and arguably without scripture of merit.
